Kaya FM’s breakfast show, 180 with Bob, will be brewing a different kind of coffee when Kuli Roberts joins the show as co-host.

As a fashion and beauty journalist, Roberts is notoriously known for her Bitch’s Brew column in the Sunday World newspaper where she developed a reputation as a controversial figure of bold opinion.  She is expected to add a feminine touch to ‘180 with Bob’ as she is welcomed by Bob Mabena and his team on Monday, 10 September.

“I’m excited, scared and glad to be so blessed. Kaya FM is the perfect brand me for me. I am looking forward to learning from Bob. God is good,” she said about this new exploration behind the mic.

She is the host of Headline, a celebrity and gossip show on DSTV’s Mzansi Magic, where she is seen as a formidable socialite. Roberts made her debut as a journalist at Fair Lady before moving to Drum where she was fashion and beauty editor and later joined the tabloid, Sunday World, as a columnist.

Kaya FM is excited to launch Roberts’s outspokenness onto the airwaves. Greg Maloka, Managing Director of Kaya FM, says “After extensive discussions with Kuli we are thrilled to have her join 180 with Bob.”

He adds, “She’ll be adding a female voice to our hugely popular breakfast drive time show and we can’t wait to see the magic that’s created on air with Bob and Kuli.”

Tune into Kaya FM95.9’s 180 with Bob weekdays between 6 and 9am and especially on Monday 10 September when Kuli Roberts makes her radio debut.
