Posted by radio On December - 20 - 2013

Phalaphala FM is hosting the long-awaited Tshivenda Music Awards (TSHIMA) tonight, this after the initial date of December 7 was shifted just a day before the event.

The event takes place at The Christ Worship House Church in Shayandima, Thohoyandou, starting at 18:00, followed at 22:00 by an after-party at Migeroni, just a stone throw from the church.

In a radio interview Thursday morning the station manager Mr. Freddy Sadiki assured Phalaphala FM listeners and the Tshivenda music lovers that with the TSHIMA in its second year, the station has done all they could for the listeners to get the best of it. He also reminded and urged all people and invited guests to be on time, for the event will be live on Phalaphala fm. He gave assurance that all security measures were put in place in order for car owners to be at ease and focus on the proceedings without worrying about the safety of their cars outside.

With 13 categories lined up, it still remains to be seen as to who will be replacing Aziambeyi Band on the Song of the Year title with their renowned Nwana o Ngalangala in 2012. Competing in this category are Killa G( Vili kha Khana), Virgi M(NDayo), Sir MCLekker Vs Tshibulebule( Rithelela), 2 Minutes vs Dupa( Muthu Wanga), Cornerstone( Tshanduko) and Bhamba with the song Masindi.

Line-up for entertainment, even at the Migeroni after-party, are Colbert Mukwevho, Khakhathi & Friends, Makhadzi, Zozo, Dan Tshanda, Glen Lewis, DJ Jones and many more.
