SABC Radio at Macufe Festival

A number of SABC Radio Stations will be activating at venues during the 16th celebration of the Macufe Cultural Festival in Bloemfontein.

SABC Radio Stations that will be broadcasting and activating during the Macufe Festival, include:

  • 7 October 15:00 -18:00: Rea Kubeletsa with Nyakallo Ba2cada Leine at Lejweleputswa-Chisa Nyama in Welkom.

 

  • 08 October 15:00-18:00 at The Thoughts, Rea Kubeletsa with Nyakallo Ba2cada Leinein Bloemfontein.

  • 11 October 09:00-00:00 at Loch Logan Rose Garden, Bloemfontein

SABC will  broadcast the Macufe Cup live on SABC 1 (Home of Soccer),  Lesedi FM, Umhlobo Wenene FM and Motsweding FM on Sunday 12 October in a clash between rivals  Bloemfontein Celtic and Kaizer Chiefs with kick-off at 15:30pm.

 

The Macufe Cultural Festival, is a 10-day festival that showcases the cream of African andinternational talent. The Festival features jazz, gospel, kwaito, hip-hop, R&B, rock and classical music, as well as dance, drama, cabaret, musical theatre, poetry, fine art and traditional arts and crafts. First held in 1997 before an audience of 30 000, Macufe now attracts over 150 000 people from South Africa, Africa and the world.
