LotusFM announces line-up tweaks for 2017

Joining the Lotus FM team are a few new bees from the 1st of May 2017.

The latest addition to the Lotus FM family is former Miss India South Africa Krsna Priya Dasa, who will be joining Zakia Ahmed as producer on the Life ‘n Style Show, weekdays, from 10:00 to 12:00.  Mishka Gounden will be our new traffic presenter on the Morning Rush Show, weekdays, 07:00 to 10:00.

 

Ryan Naicker will now be the official host of the Morning Rush Show, Shaastra Nagesar the producer, and Althaf Suleman as sport presenter.  Shirdika Pillai will present the Midday Spice Show, with Byron David as producer every weekday, from 12:00 to 15:00. The drive time show has been renamed as the     “Afternoon Takeover”, the show will be presented by Varshan Sookhun with Pravina Maharaj the producer, Feroz Shaik as sport presenter and Sanobar Khan the traffic presenter. Enrico Pillay will now be joining Alan Khan as the producer on Walk the Talk from Monday to Thursday, 19:00 to 20:00. Apart from listening to him on the Jungle Fever, you can also catch Avin Moorley every Friday, from 21:00 to 24:00 on In–Da Mix.

 

“We are excited about the line-up; it was a much needed refreshed rotation of on-air presenters within the station. I would also like to welcome those who have joined the station and I have full confidence in the entire line-up”, says Station Manager Alvin Pillay.

 

We encourage listeners to tune in to LotusFM 87.7 -106.8 from the 1st May 2017, and enjoy the fresh take of a fantastic line-up.  The station will continue to fulfil its public broadcasting mandate, to entertain, inform and educate its listeners.
