Joyous Celebration headed to Sun City this Spring

Posted by radio On August - 18 - 2017

Having already staged its 21st instalment in six provinces this year, MTN Joyous Celebration is headed to Sun City as part of its national tour. The 1-day spectacular, grand, and spiritual show will be held at the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday, 2 September 2017.

Pastor Jabu Hlongwane, Founder, says: “Our theme of Heal our Land has been spread throughout the country and outside our borders. It is such a significant theme that came right on time. As a society, we are currently witnessing ailments that cover our bodies, mind and soul, and we – as a nation – have been granted the authority to denounce these. Our show aims to call on people in the North-West province and beyond to join us as we call on our Lord to restore peace in our land.”

MTN Joyous Celebration, the internationally acclaimed and award-winning Gospel music powerhouse, has established itself as the pioneers in the music industry. Year on year, the bar is raised to ensure that fans are enthralled by the group’s offering. From the outfits, production and performances, North West will be left in complete awe. We are about giving our best, and this year is no different. We are so excited and looking forward to celebrating this milestone with our fans ” says Lindelani Mkhize.

Furthermore, as part of its 21st birthday and celebrating with the community, MTN Joyous Celebration has committed to give-away one of its previous gorgeous outfits to a deserving choir in each of the nine provinces. Local choirs need to send an email with their details, and why they feel they are the deserving choir to info@joyous.co.za by 2 September 2017.

“Giving back to communities is one of the things that drives us. We are grateful for the support we’ve been given over the past 21 years, and we know that it is because of our fans and our Almighty that we are where we are today. Each year, our talented designers create magic in the form of costumes to dazzle stages and enchant our audiences, we are truly blessed and it would be a disservice to let these costumes collect dust, when they could be used by someone else. We waited for the right moment, which is now – as we come off age,” says Pastor Mthunzi Namba.

Tickets for the Sun City show are available from R200 per ticket at Computicket and Shoprite / Checkers outlets nationwide.
