SABC dominates the SATMA Nominations

The Public Service Broadcaster (SABC) received  an astounding number of nominations at the 12th SATMA Nominee’s announcement held at the Durban ICC, in KwaZulu Natal.

According to the SATMA Award’s an unprecedented number of 190,613 SMS nominations and a total of 697 entries to the different categories were recorded in 63 days of the SATMA’s nomination period.

A number of SABC Radio presenters and programs were nominated in various categories including:

 

 

 

BEST TRADITIONAL MUSIC RADIO PROGRAM OF THE YEAR:  

Dzumba na Mina (Munghana Lonene FM), Lwesuka Lutfuli (Ligwalagwala FM), Lavuth’iBhayi (Umhlobo Wenene FM).

BEST TRADITIONAL RADIO PRESENTER OF THE YEAR NOMINEES:
