Headlining this upcoming Kaya FM Family day will be Vusi Nova and Ntando Bangani. Both artists have expressed their excitement to be part of this edition of the Kaya FM Family Day, which is in proud partnership with African Bank. The event will be filled with amazing entertainment for the whole family at The Big Red Barn in Olifantsfontein on Sunday the 17th of September.

Vusi Nova who is famed from his first single “I’d Rather Go Blind” which garnered huge praise from his fans, this memorable hit song was originally composed and recorded by legendary songstress Etta James in 1968.

 

His more recently released an album titled, Naninina talks about his late parents, failed relationships, his journey to healing; and has been seen as an impressive intimate look at his life. The album includes powerful hits like “Naninina”, “Walk Into Light”, “Did It For Love” and many more,

 

Vusi has mentioned that his ultimate future collaboration would be with Ringo Madlongozi and R Kelly.

Ntando’s career began on Johannesburg’s West Rand in the township of Kagiso. For years Ntando has given us soothing sounds, and music for the heart. Today the Nelspruit-born musician is a multi-award winning and platinum selling artist.

 

Ntando came into the music industry in 2003 when he signed his first record deal and released his debut album “Kwantu” which went platinum. Ntando released his second album “Imvelaphi” which was a triple-platinum smash and generated several awards, including “Song of the Year” at both the SAMA and Metro FM Awards for the stunning track “Dali Wam”. He also won Best Newcomer, Best Album and Best Male Artist.

 

He later dropped ‘Uhambo Lwam’ in 2008, an album that also went platinum. It saw him touring the world in countries like France, Germany, Botswana, Namibia, and finally India in mid-2009. He then released ‘Inqubela’, a masterpiece that saw him walk away with Best Pop Album category in the 2010 SAMA awards.

 

Both Vusi Nova and Ntando Bangani promise to give electric performances, with memorable sing alongs, a great day that promises to be a fantastic entertainment for the family.
